Summer Melancholy or Autumn Inspiration?

September – the best month of the year. And not just because it is my birthday. But because every year the month means a new start for me.

The summer slowly says goodbye and I feel a little melancholy and longing for warm days. School starts again for the kids and I am back from my summer vacation. I enjoy the last warm days in the garden. I watch a host of blooming flowers still in full splendor for late summer colour, but the withering has already started slowly. I’m sure I can smell autumn already.

My vacation has just ended and I am back and well rested. And full of beans. I used the days off in summer to clear my head and recover, so I can now think about my projects with an open mind, about new ideas and old goals. This is so exciting and thrilling, how many ideas evolve. It’s September and I can’t wait to get back to my work. I feel so incredibly powerful, inspired and almost enthusiastic to try some new things. This month is a new beginning for me – full of motivation and rich with ideas. To find out anew what I can already accomplish and what I cannot do yet. Besides the slight summer melancholy, I enjoy the autumnal mood of departure to the fullest.

Do you know this feeling? Do you feel the same in September? And where do you go from there? Is your energy sustainable or do you typically already feel overwhelm and exhaustion by October ? I am curious, let’s talk about it. We are here for you.

Here are our “autumnal” chestnuts for you:
